Frequently asked questions
How do I add money to a goal?
Either log a manual contribution from the goal's page, or tag any transaction (typically a transfer to savings) as a contribution. Both flows update the goal in real time.
Do goals come out of my budget?
Only if you want them to. Contributions can be tagged as a budget category (e.g., a 'Savings' envelope) or kept outside the budget entirely. Your call per goal.
Are goals personal or shared with my household?
Goals are personal to your account. Each household member manages their own goals independently. Shared budgets and accounts give you visibility into joint spending — goals are where you track your individual targets.
What happens when I hit the target?
The goal is marked complete and you'll see a celebratory state on the dashboard. The goal stays in your history so you can see what you've accomplished. Any future contributions go to a different goal.
